Omen haiku

You ever notice
how when you dream of a plane
everything changes

concrete explosion
windshield shattered glass and screams
don’t stop keep driving

the plane disappears
into a big tunnel with
all the other planes

this is the crossroads
in the sky of the dream time
shadows stand in cue

intersecting pipes
hey where is this plane going
sit obedient

I don’t remember
what we talked about but it
had to be said here

back seat of a car
our faces blank encrypted
empty terminal

there was harmony
in the waypoints of our chaos
it was all a sync

wake up remember
nothing one third of your life
evaporated

empty liquid mind
in the crystal melting snow
lysergic acid

it flips like a switch
when the moon is full and pulls
the lofty curtain

bursts a spinal disc
when strayed too far off the path
sciatic for life

African root bark
ground and put into capsules
metallic vomit

fly around the room
tracers and metabolites
ban the only cures
